Among the 6 disappointments of our trip to Deer Park is the visit to “Cat Tales”. This was a superlative disappointment. It is a tiny zoo in the old style, badly had, smelly: terrible! Cages are minimal for animals as large with as much energy, such as wolves, for example, which in their natural state usually travel thousands of miles daily.

Entre las 6 decepciones de nuestro viaje a Deer Park está la visita a “Cat Tales”. Esta fue una decepción superlativa. Se trata de un diminuto zoológico al estilo antiguo, mal tenido, mal-oliente: terrible! Las jaulas son mínimas para animales tan grandes con tanta energía, como los lobos, por ejemplo, que en su estado natural suelen recorrer miles de millas diariamente.

There were few photos and videos that I could take of the animals, since due to the horrendous heat it was doing, they were all in their shelters.

And here we conclude, once again, with the odious comparisons. We did not expect to see a zoo like the one in Miami, which we have visited so many times, but neither something like what we saw in the so-called “Cat Tales”.
Y aquí concluimos, una vez más, con las odiosas comparaciones. No esperánbamos ver un zoológico como el de Miami, que tantas veces hemos visitado, pero tampoco algo como lo que vimos en el llamado “Cat Tales”.
